AMT's Two Pressure Sequencing Damper air conveyance system (TPSD) is a revolutionary design able to handle modern custom-shaped, light-weight PET bottles. Our patented two-pressure system automatically increases air pressures when bottles are backed up, ensuring that the bottles are moved away at rate. By decreasing air pressure when the conveyor is empty, the TPSD system is able to control single-bottle speeds, providing the following advantages:

• Eliminates dents, even on 47-gram, two-liter bottles
• Eliminates jams, even on hard-to-handle cone-shaped bottles
• Minimizes scuffing, even on freshly blow-molded bottles
• Minimizes neck guide wear
• Maximizes accumulation efficiency

Mechanical sequencing damper settings are set once at start-up by AMT professional service representatives for the life of the conveyor. Once the sequencing dampers are set, all subsequent pressure adjustments can be done from the control panel. High and low speeds are stored for each blower for each bottle size. The control panel touch screen allows operators enough control to manage the system through situations and variables (such as air temperature), but all factory settings can be returned through a single reset function.
